From sunrise to night,
the colors of nature define us,
they transform us.
But our prolonged presence distorts wilderness.
The artistic intention of this piece is to reflect on the rarity of still untamed natural landscapes nowadays. The purpose of the experience is to let oneself be moved by the images and to interact with it, leaving our own troubled marks on this virtual nature.
Our extended presence results in black oil stains and plastic debris spreading all around us, permanently altering the environment. In this case, the wild island of Tikehau, lost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean in the French Polynesia.
